Dr. Lisa Woo
Dr. Lisa Woo's education started at the University of Texas at Austin where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Microbiology in 1996. Immediately following her graduation from UT, she went on to earn her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Houston, College of Optometry in 2000. Finally in early 2003, Dr. Woo started her optometric practice on West 19th Street in the Houston Heights area. Dr. Woo feels that the Heights is a unique part of Houston that is both historical and innovative, and she is proud to be a both a resident and a practitioner in the neighborhood.
Dr. Woo practices optometry on infants, children, and adults and provides eye care ranging from ocular health examination to spectacle eye wear and contact lenses. Dr. Woo provides complimentary eye exams for children under one year old as a participant provider for InfantSEE, a national program designed to promote the early examination of infant eyes. For patients who have difficulty reading after the age of 40, she examines eye health and prescribes lenses which allow the patient to read again. She regularly treats ocular allergies, eye infections, and injuries, particularly foreign body removals. Dr. Woo also diagnose and treat ocular conditions such as iritis, cataracts, glaucoma, and more.
Dr. Woo's office uses the latest technology in the services and products they offer, and her staff is trained in providing exceptional customer service.

Dr. Stanley Woo

He is Dr. Lisa Woo's husband and past relief for Dr. Lisa Woo when she was on maternity leave, so he no longer practices at Eye to Eye. He is currently and primarily an Assistant Professor at the University of Houston, College of Optometry and a founding director of the Center for Sight Enhancement. He completed his undergraduate training in pharmacology at the University of Toronto, and his doctorate in Optometry in 1994 at the University of California at Berkeley. In 1995, he completed residency training in low vision rehabilitation at the University of Houston, College of Optometry. Dr. Woo and became a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry in 1997 and a diplomat in low vision in 1999. His research interests include low vision rehabilitation, nystagmus, and pharmacology.
Since 1995, Dr. Woo has been in part-time private practice in Houston, TX with the Retina Consultants of Houston providing vision rehabilitation services. He has made presentations at various national and international meetings on topics related to vision rehabilitation, pharmacology and the retina. Dr. Woo also serves on the American Academy of Optometry and the American Optometric Association committees and is a former President of the Texas Optometric Association.

The Staff
Laura (left): Graduated with B.S. from University of Houston Conrad Hilton College. Has years of experience in customer service from working at Disney World, Pappadeaux's and M.D. Anderson. Working towards a Masters in business and would love to visit China for a long deserved vacation.
Mike (second left): Currently a first year student at University of Houston College of Optometry studying to become an optometrist. Enjoys playing Bingo and collecting watches.
Patty (second right): Her and her husband love to travel and are active in their church community. She also enjoys reading, watching tv, and spending time as a new Aunt with her newborn niece.
Lupita (far right): Currently enrolled at the University of Houston at Downtown completing her undergraduate program. Loves and enjoys watching the Texans play, and spending time with her nieces and nephews.
Jenny (not shown): Native Houstonian and has owned several businesses, is a realtor, a mom of 3, and nonna of 8. Enjoys running at Memorial Park, hiking and reading.
Holly (not shown): Born in Houston but was raised in Wisconsin. Is certified in Billing & Coding. Loves to spend time with her family and shopping in her free time.

Community Involvement
The Drs. Woo continually aim to be active in their local community through both their practice and person lives. They are members in the Heights Home Association and the Greater Heights Area Chamber of Commerce. The Drs. Woo also have made charitable donations to school and community silent auctions and events.
Dr. Lisa Woo is also an active member of the Houston Heights Rotary and can be seen working out at Studio Fitness on numerous occassions.
Dr. Lisa Woo and the staff also enjoy attending the annual Heights Fun Run as well as supporting local businesses and restaurants.
